Hello.

I realize that I have been away for quite some time. The truth is that I needed time to myself. Over the past two years, I have experienced a number of incidents in my life. Their aftermath have impacted my outlook on life. The impact has been so great that I can safely say I am not the same person I was two years ago.

However, giving up has never been an option for me. It doesn't matter if I experience pain, loss, betrayal, heartbreak, or even hate. Sure, they are something I would rather avoid if possible but you have to take the good with the bad. It's only through experiencing both victory and defeat, sharing laughs and shedding tears that a person truly grows. It's okay to cry but you have to move on. 

As for projects, the Pokémon FireRed Nuzlocke Challenge Comic has been cancelled. The Let's Play will continue some time in the future, but I do not have any plans for turning those adventures into comics. That being said, I do have another project that I am currently working on. As of now, it is only in the early stages and is simply titled "Project X" (I'm gushing with originality, I know) More on this project in the future.

I plan on uploading some artwork here now that I have an actual graphics tablet to work with. It might take some time for me to get the hang of it, but rest assured, the art is coming. Once I do, expect to see at least one piece of artwork each month. Also, allow me to take this opportunity to thank any and all the watchers who have stuck around; I appreciate your continued support.

Summer is coming to an end. School is drawing near. I'm trying to make the most of the three weeks I have left. I guess the best course of action would be to make a checklist and finish most if not all of it by the end. That to-do list will probably include my Pokémon FireRed Nuzlocke comic. I uploaded a sneak preview of it earlier today so feel free to go check it out. For the most part, the story is coming along nicely. I really wish I had a tablet though; it has been rough drawing with the touch pad on my laptop.

I have been feeling tired and lazy lately but I guess it's time I picked up the slack. My internet may not have gotten better but that's no reason I can't stock up on videos for the coming months. So, another item on the to-do list is to narrate at least 3 videos each week. If I can stock up enough videos to last me the next 2 months, it would make the school transition much smoother. For those of you who don't know, I can't upload on my Youtube channel for some reason. I've tried over 10 times, and each time I wait an hour for the upload to process and when it's finished both audio and video quality are distorted + not all of the video is fully uploaded. It's really frustrating but hopefully this will change with a new internet provider next month.

I guess I'll leave it at that. I'll try my best to have something new uploaded on DeviantArt before September starts.

The past 2 weeks have not been fun for me at all. After I made my last journal entry, a nasty bunch of malware, spyware, and trojan programs decided it was time to make their presence known. Horrible timing as usual. I was rendering a video in the middle of the night and I decided; "Hey, closing my eyes for a few minutes isn't going to hurt anyone..." I woke up 5 minutes later to find everything in a mess; my desktop icons were gone, the program rendering was gone, and the taskbar was LITTERED with Alert Triangle notifications.

According to the diagnosis of this "recovery" program, my hard drives were experiencing critical failure (or something along those lines). Sounds legit. But then I started to think about it. If they were experiencing some sort of failure, wouldn't there just have been a blue screen of death? Why could I access windows task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del) but no other programs? And if this program wanted to help me, why did it require money? Nice try.

So I wiped out the entire computer of the trojan(s) and just to be on the safe side, killed my entire HDDs clean of EVERYTHING. This was of course, after I backed up all of my 600GB data. That was fun. The method of wiping the HDDs took about 3 days nonstop. After that was done, I got to work on installing Windows 7 once more. Now I'm in the process of bringing all that data back.

Any good news? New microphone. The quality is going to be way better when I'm ready to record once more. New updated software. I think some of the software I have now is even faster than before so no more long rendering times I hope. New games. Just dropped $35 on the last day of the Steam Sale (apparently, it had different deals throughout the week and today was the last day). The games I bought are: Assassin's Creed I, II, Brotherhood, Bastion, Prince of Persia; All of them.

As soon as I transfer everything - probably by noon tomorrow, I am going to be looking into getting a better internet provider as well. I've been having troubles with uploads on Youtube lately and I think the internet is to blame. Once that is taken care of, uploads. UPLOADS EVERYWHERE.

As for the tablet, I'm still undecided. I was going to order from Amazon, but now that I'm thinking about it; what if it breaks as soon as it's out of the box? Knowing my luck, I wouldn't even be surprised. So, yeah...I have no idea what I'm going to do but I'm thinking about it. Hopefully, I'll have decided on something by next week.

Okay, I made this way longer than it needed to be.

TL;DR - Trojans lost. Reformat. New mic + software. Still no new tablet.

I'm not dead. But my activity on here says otherwise. If I had to pick words for it, I'd say I'm a bit depressed and unhappy. But I can't say why because it's probably stupid and embarrassing.

I will say this; I'm sorry about not uploading anything in a while. I'll try my best to have SOMETHING by next week. For the past few weeks, I've been looking into getting a graphics tablet for myself. When I found something cheap, I was a bit skeptical. If something is too good to be true, usually there's some catch. The site I was going to order the tablet from does not include the shipping costs in the price. So, if I were to buy the tablet from this site, I would not only have to worry about the shipping costs, but also the tax that gets slapped on it. Basically, I would end up paying the same as if I were to buy a brand name one. So, time to find another alternative.

I got the A key "fixed" on my laptop. I say "fixed" because it's not 100% responsive; it feels the same but it's not. I knew that place was shady but I had no idea what else to do. Complete keyboard re-installation fees are steep. Oh well, I'm saving up for a new custom computer anyway, so to hell with this laptop.

I was hoping to have a video uploaded today on my Youtube channel but that didn't go according to plan either. Youtube messed up the upload so the audio and video were distorted. So I lost my temper, and just postponed it until tomorrow. (or later in the middle of the night) Also, I'm rushing to finish Pokémon Black 2 so I can bring some new style battles but the story is taking forever. That and I don't understand moonspeak so I'll go somewhere and then something/someone blocks the path forward so I have to backtrack. Elite Four, I'm headed your way.

Appropriate way to start my first journal entry, no?

Anyways, I'm not always going to be on DA, but I'll try. The reason I made this account is so it would encourage me to get back into art. I used to be all about the art bro. True Story.

You know what recently pissed me off? And I know this is going off into a tangent but; I broke the "a" on my keyboard. It was really sticking a couple of days ago so I would type "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" even though I had only held it down for just a second. So, I opened it up and in the process of cleaning it up, I accidentally tore the plastic joint that gives the keys that extra spring when you type. I thought it wasn't a big deal but now that I've placed everything back, the key just feels "dead". Whenever I'm typing fast now, I'll have to press harder on "a" just to get it to show up. I'm not sure why this is happening but I think the plastic retainers underneath the keys are also positioned incorrectly. I bet this wouldn't bother someone else as much, so why does it bother me?
